Establishment located in a 19th century building in the famous hilly ikov quarter, beating heart of the ancient and modern political, artistic and literary history of Prague.
It can perhaps best be described as the ‘Montmartre’ of Prague, with its authentic Czech restaurants and pubs, shops and major attractions including the Vitkov hill, the avante-guard TV Tower and the modern Jewish cemetery where Franz Kafka is buried.
The immense and charming Riegrovy Park is just round the corner, offering you a breathtaking view on the Prague Castle and the Old Town roofs. The building’s location, a two minute tram ride, eight minute walk from the Old Town, is a key feature.
Living in this area, so close to the Old Town but without the high prices of the major tourist streets, is very attractive for visitors and residents alike. All the apartments in this Residence have been recently renovated and all the historic features have been preserved and stylishly mixed with an ultramodern interior design.

Capacity: 2 people
Size: 20 m² - one room with a mezzanine and a fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom with shower.
Gutfreund Apartment
Ultra-modern apartment, spacious, bright, recently renovated in a minimal style. On the ground floor, the rear rooms overlook the garden and the front rooms look onto a beautiful, historic, 19th century building.
Capacity: 4+4 people
Size: 100 m² - three spacious rooms, two bathrooms with shower and Jacuzzi, spacious entrance, fully equipped kitchen.
Janak Apartment
Capacity: 4+2 people
Size: 45 m² - one bedroom, bathroom with shower, spacious kitchen with a mezzanine
Mucha Apartment
Clean, bright and quiet, recently renovated with all the historic features of the apartment - such as etched glass, ornate doors, plasterwork - have been preserved and stylishly mixed with an ultra-modern touch. On the second floor, the rear rooms overlook the garden and the front rooms look onto beautiful, historic, 19th century.
Capacity: 4 + 2 people
Size: 85 m2 - three rooms, bathroom with shower and a spacious kitchen.

Location
How to get to the Art Residence Apartments:
From the airport
- By taxi - Get the yellow taxi owned by the company 'AAA'. There are private taxi drivers but they are expensive. The 'AAA' taxi will use the taxi meter. Give the driver the address: PRIBYSLAVSKA 5, PRAGUE 3. The journey will be about 25 minutes and will cost 500-580czk.
- By public transport - Get appropriate tickets for your journey at the airport. From the orange-colored, public transport, ticket dispensers - situated in airport, public arrival area, or from the public transport desk. You cannot buy tickets on the bus or tram. The tickets will cost 20czk for each person for the whole journey - from the airport to the apartment.
From the airport you get the 119 bus. Get off at the final bus stop – which is called DEJVICKA.
Here you have 2 options:
- cross the road using the underpass (it is safer) and catch tram no.26 going in the direction of the city centre, away from the airport. Stay on the tram until you reach the tram stop HUSINECKA.
- In the underpass, catch metro B, green line, in the only direction available from DEJVICKA. Get off in MUSTEK and from there catch Tram n. 9 for three stops to HUSINECKA.
In both cases, get off at the HUSINECKA tram stop. From here its a two minute walk to the apartment: walk for 2-3 minutes in the same direction of the Tram, you will have on your right a small park with the small Viktoria Stadium. Turn the second street to the right, that's Pribyslavska. Look for n. 5 on your right.
The journey will take about 35-40 minutes.
From the train stations
- From Holesovice Train Station get the Metro (red line) to Hlavny Nadrazi (it's the main train station).
- From Hlavni Nadrazi Train station exit in the direction of the Tram, you will have to cross a park to get there.
Get any tram from there (5, 9 or 26) to the tram stop HUSINECKA.
Get off at the HUSINECKA tram stop.
From Husinecka tram stop, walk for 2-3 minutes in the same direction of the Tram, you will have on your right a small park with the small Viktoria Stadium. Turn the second street to the right, that's Pribyslavska. Look for number 5 on your right.
