Hotel Anna  

Prague hotel Anna is a standard 3-star prague hotel offering accommodation in Prague with elegant building constructed in the years 1892-1895 as a combination of neo classic facade and Art Nouveau interiors. Until 1948 the building served as an upscale residential property. During the next 53 years continued as a residential building, fortunately without being affected by the destructive construction policy of those times. As from 1993, after a total reconstruction and adopting the name Anna (named after the mother of the first owner) the property started its new career as a hotel. Since then several improvements took place in order to return to the building its original Art Nouveau interior decoration and secure higher comfort to its customers.

• Prague Hotel Anna offer its guests 22 standard rooms: Each of the spacious and comfortably furnished rooms is equipped with shower & WC, hair dryer, IDD telephone, satellite TV and a safety deposit box. People travelling for business purpose will appreciate a large writing desk in most of the rooms. Elegant engraved pictures of the old city of Prague decorate the walls.
  
• Suites: There are two lovely suites on the top floor, offering a lot of space and comfort in a large bedroom and living room. From one of the suites you can enjoy a lovely view over Hradcany (the castle area), the Old Town towers and Prague's green hills.

As the Hotel Anna is a small, cozy Prague hotel, do not expect things like congress halls, shop cascades and lots of other amenities you can find in the big ones. Hotel Anna is focused to provide the independent traveler with maximum comfort by providing the following services:

Prague Hotel Anna is situated in the respected residential district of Vinohrady, right in the historical center of Prague. The Budecska Street is a quiet street, formed by mostly 19th century residential buildings. There are many restaurants and bars in the area, convenient for the traveler not willing to walk further away. Vinohrady area is also popular for being very well connected to the whole city by trams, subway and buses, all stopping near the hotel.

There is a subway stop line "A", named "Namesti Miru" only approx. 200 meters from hotel Anna and subway stop line "C" named "I.P. Pavlova" approx. 400 meters from Hotel Anna. Trams Nr. 22, 23, 34, 4 and 57 stop 150 meters from the hotel.

History & Monuments:

• Wenceslas Square – Beginning life as a horse market in medieval times, the rectangular shaped Wenceslas 'Square' is actually a broad, half-mile long boulevard, dominated by Josef Schulz's neo-Renaissance National Museum
• Prague castle served as mansion of Czech kings and now it is the seat of President. Its history starts in the 9th century when Prince Borivoj founded a fortified settlement here.
• Staromestske namesti (Old Town Square) The one thing that all of Europe's great capital cities have in common is a focal point of a grand main square and Prague's easily ranks among the best. Once the main marketplace of Prague, the Old Town Square is a large, immaculately preserved space surrounded by a number of architectural treasures including Staromìstská Radnice , Kinský Palace and St. Nicholas Church.
• Charles Bridge was built in 1357 to replace an earlier Romanesque bridge from the second half of the 12th century and known as Judith Bridge after a Bohemian queen.
